Gibbr $500 USDC Giveaway — Official Rules

Last updated 27 August 2026

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. Buying a Gibbr subscription, a card, or anything else does not improve your chances and is not required. A purchase will not increase your odds of winning. Void where prohibited by law.

1. Who is running this

The sponsor is Gibbr, operated by Shawn Lippert, 95b Havasupai St, Grand Canyon, AZ 86023, United States. Questions go to support@gibbr.app, which is the only address we use for this giveaway.

This giveaway is a game of chance, not a contest of skill. Winners are drawn at random from all eligible entries. Nobody judges the quality of your post, your photo or your writing.

2. When it runs

Prizes sentWithin 7 days of a winner confirming their address

The clock that matters is the sponsor's entry system, not your device. An entry is counted when our server records it.

3. Who can enter

4. How to enter, free

Go to gibbr.app/contest, give an email address and a Base address, and press enter. That is the whole free entry route and it is worth one entry. No payment, no subscription, no card.

One person, one entry record. One email address and one Base address per person. Re-submitting the same email shows you the entry you already have; it never creates a second one. Using several emails, several wallets, disposable-mail services, or any tool that fakes separate people is grounds for disqualification of every entry involved.

5. Earning extra entries

Extra entries are optional. Each one is free to earn.

Where the money comes from. Prizes are paid by the sponsor, from the sponsor's own funds, after the draw. Nothing is held in escrow or locked in a contract beforehand, no entrant is ever asked to deposit, stake or fund anything, and there is no token. The sponsor is responsible for paying every prize listed above, and each payment appears publicly on Base once sent.

All prizes are paid in USDC on the Base network (chain ID 8453) to the address on your entry. Prizes are not transferable and there is no cash, bank-transfer or other-currency alternative. One prize per person; the draw will not award two prizes to the same entrant.

If fewer than 19 eligible entries exist at the close, the sponsor awards prizes in the order listed above until entries run out, and the rest go unawarded.

7. How the draw works, and how you can check it

Every entry is one ticket in one pool. Someone with 10 entries has ten tickets; someone with 1 has one. Tickets are drawn without replacement, so nobody wins twice.

The draw is built so we cannot quietly pick our friends:

  1. When entries close, we freeze the list and publish its SHA-256 fingerprint on this page. Any later edit to the list would change that fingerprint.
  2. The randomness comes from the first Base block mined at or after 1 October 2026, 07:00:00 am UTC. Nobody, including us, can know that block hash in advance.
  3. That block hash seeds a documented, deterministic draw. We publish the block number, the hash, the frozen list and the draw code.
  4. Anyone can run the same code on the same inputs and land on the same 19 winners. If our published winners differ, we are caught.

Draw method in one line: keccak/SHA-256(block_hash + ":" + ticket_index) ranks the tickets, and the highest-ranked distinct entrants take the prizes in the order listed in section 6.

8. Winning, and getting paid

9. Being announced

Winners agree that we may publish the name or handle on their entry, their country, and the payment transaction hash, which is public on Base regardless. Tell us if you would rather be announced by first name or handle only and we will respect that. We never publish your email address.

10. Behaviour we will disqualify for

Disqualification removes every entry connected to the person, including referral credit others earned from them.

11. Your information

We collect your email, Base address, chosen name or handle, country, and anything you submit for a bonus. We use it to run this giveaway, to pay winners, and to answer you. We do not sell it. See the privacy policy. Ask us at support@gibbr.app to delete your entry at any time — that also withdraws you from the draw.

12. Gibbr is not a financial product

USDC is used here only as a way to pay a prize. Entering is not an investment, there is no token, no yield, no expectation of profit, and nothing here is financial advice. Gibbr is translation software.

13. Things outside our control

If fraud, a technical failure, a network outage, or anything else beyond our reasonable control corrupts the fairness or the running of this giveaway, we may cancel, suspend or amend it. If we do, we will say so on this page and award prizes fairly among the eligible entries collected up to that point. Our liability to any entrant is limited to the value of the prize they could have won.

We may correct an obvious clerical error in these rules or in a published entry total. Substantive changes will be dated on this page and will not reduce entries you have already earned.

14. Not associated with these companies

This giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with X (Twitter), Meta, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Reddit, Google, Apple, Coinbase, Circle, the Base network, or any other platform. Do not direct questions about it to them.

15. Law

These rules are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Entrants agree that any dispute is resolved individually, in the state or federal courts located in Arizona, and that class actions are waived. If any provision here is unenforceable, the rest still stands. Where local law conflicts with these rules, local law wins and the giveaway is void in that place if it must be.

16. Winners

The draw has not happened yet. Winners, the frozen entry-list fingerprint, the Base block number and hash, and the payment transaction hashes all appear here on 1 October 2026.
