This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, processed, stored, and protected by Gibbr, operated by the AgentPay Team and Shawn Lippert, located at 95b Havasupai St, Grand Canyon, AZ 86023, United States. You can reach our privacy team directly by emailing support@gibbr.app. We are dedicated to maintaining clear and transparent data handling practices for all platform users.
Our core operational privacy philosophy is straightforward: Gibbr is engineered to protect user privacy while delivering seamless multi-language translation tools. We do not sell your personal data, we do not run third-party advertising networks, and we do not embed third-party analytics tracking scripts on our platform.
This policy applies to all features accessible at gibbr.app, including our public and regional translation chat rooms, face-to-face translator page at /talk, voice notes at /voice/, printable QR cards, Emergency SOS service at /sos, and our native Android application wrapper. By using these tools, you agree to the data collection and processing practices described in this document.
A cornerstone of Gibbr's privacy model is our strictly controlled, in-house translation architecture. All speech recognition, text translation, and voice synthesis operations run exclusively on computing infrastructure managed directly by the operator. This architecture ensures complete operational control over all voice and text streams.
Your private text messages, voice recordings, and translated conversations are NEVER sent to, processed by, or shared with OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, or any other third-party artificial intelligence provider. We maintain full custody over our translation stack from end to end.
This in-house translation processing guarantees that your personal conversations, venue interactions, and voice recordings remain confidential. Your communications are never exposed to external AI model vendors or ingested into third-party machine learning training sets.
We collect and process specific categories of information necessary to deliver translation services, manage subscriptions, enforce community standards, and route emergency SOS alerts. We maintain transparent practices regarding all data elements gathered across our platform.
We process personal identifiers, communications content, technical server records, and local authentication tokens across our systems to maintain account security and service performance. Each data category serves a specific operational purpose outlined below:
We process these data categories strictly to deliver requested features, maintain platform integrity, and fulfill our contractual commitments to users and subscribing agencies. We do not use your collected data for secondary commercial purposes or profiling.
We strictly limit third-party data sharing and engage external service providers only where necessary to process subscription payments or deliver emergency response alerts. We ensure all external integrations align with our strict privacy requirements.
Payment card processing is managed securely by Stripe. The operator never receives, handles, or stores your raw credit card or debit card numbers on our infrastructure. All financial transactions are governed by Stripe's security standards.
When you trigger an Emergency SOS alert at gibbr.app/sos, your GPS location coordinates, translated distress message, severity rating, and optional scene photo are transmitted directly to the subscribing emergency agency covering your area, such as park rangers, county sheriffs, ski patrols, or search and rescue units. This targeted data sharing is necessary to facilitate emergency assistance.
We do not share, rent, or transfer your personal information to advertising networks, third-party analytics firms, or data brokers under any circumstances. Your privacy remains protected against commercial tracking.
We establish clear data retention schedules tailored to each specific category of information processed on the Gibbr platform. Our storage practices balance user privacy with technical and legal requirements.
Voice note audio recordings are deleted automatically on a short retention window after transcription and delivery to the recipient. Text transcripts and translated messages remain stored in your conversation history until you request deletion or account removal.
Emergency SOS distress submissions, location logs, severity ratings, and associated scene photos are retained as permanent incident records to support emergency agency response auditing, safety analysis, and legal recordkeeping. These records remain stored securely in isolated agency databases.
Standard web server access logs are routinely rotated and purged during server maintenance cycles. Account profile identifiers and subscription email records remain stored for as long as your account remains active.
Gibbr is not directed toward or intended for use by children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 13, and any account identified as belonging to a child under 13 will be removed promptly.
Public chat rooms include designated adult-only spaces that are strictly age-gated to prevent younger users from entering mature discussions. These controls help maintain age-appropriate boundaries across our platform.
Accounts identified as belonging to minor users are subjected to feature access restrictions and may require a verified parent or guardian email address to maintain account functionality. Parents or guardians may contact us anytime to review or remove a minor's profile.
We implement administrative, technical, and physical security controls designed to safeguard your personal information against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or disclosure. We evaluate our security practices continuously to address evolving network threats.
Technical protection measures include mandatory HTTPS encryption for all web and mobile data transfers, token-gated private storage controls for Emergency SOS scene photos, and restricted server infrastructure access. These controls prevent unauthorized intercept or data extraction.
Although we enforce comprehensive security controls, no internet platform or digital storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. We encourage users to maintain secure device passwords and safeguard their local storage account credentials.
Regardless of your geographic location or citizenship, we grant all users fundamental rights regarding their personal information stored on our platform. We provide straightforward tools to help you manage your digital privacy effectively.
We respect individual privacy rights across major global standards, ensuring equal privacy choices for everyone. These core data protection rights apply across all operating jurisdictions:
Our reference to European and California privacy rules explains how we honor individual data rights universally. We do not claim formal third-party privacy certifications, government audit seals, or external compliance accreditations.
To exercise any of your privacy rights, please submit an email request to support@gibbr.app including your display name and unique short code. Our privacy team will process your request promptly.
We reserve the right to modify or update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect platform enhancements, operational changes, or new legal requirements. All policy revisions take effect immediately upon publication.
Updated policy documents will be published on gibbr.app accompanied by a revised publication date line. We encourage users to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we protect personal information.
